A legal firm headquartered in Tunbridge Wells has strengthened its offering by hiring the team from automotive specialists Radius Law.
The team from the London firm will join Cripps’ commercial and technology practice as of May 1.
Radius had developed a reputation for its work in the automotive industry, working with dealers, brands and trade associations.
Cripps’ commercial and tech team will be expanded by the move to more than 20 people based in its London and South East offices. It will allow it to “ further enhance the firm’s ability to support large corporate clients with complex commercial and regulatory needs” it said.
Radius Law founder and former Mercedes-Benz UK Group general counsel, Iain Larkins, will join Cripps as a partner alongside other members of the Radius team.
James Beatton, managing partner at Cripps, said: “Iain has built an exceptional team at Radius with strong and trusted relationships with large corporates, particularly in the automotive sector.
“Their arrival significantly strengthens our commercial and technology practice and enhances our ability to support clients operating in complex and fast-moving markets.”
Iain Larkins added: “We are enormously excited to be joining Cripps. Everyone I have met at the firm shares the same values we have at Radius – delivering practical commercial advice while focusing on making a positive and lasting impact for our clients, people, community and planet.
“Joining Cripps gives our team a fantastic platform to continue supporting our clients while offering access to the wider capabilities of a full-service law firm.”
