Jason Livingstone scored a game-high 14 points to lead Westampton Tech to a 55-38 victory over Cinnaminson in a Burlington County Scholastic League Liberty Division matchup in Westampton.
The Panthers (12-7) jumped out to a 22-10 lead after the first quarter and rode the hot start to their third win in four games.
Tristen Dickerson controlled the glass with 13 rebounds while adding six assists and one block for Westampton Tech.
Nick Bock led Cinnaminson (5-14) with 10 points, including one 3-pointer, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Panthers’ balanced attack.
Henry Njoga contributed a double-double for Westampton Tech with 12 points and 11 rebounds, along with three blocks. Javon Ford added 11 points, while Damien Moragne facilitated the offense with six assists to go with his eight points.
The Pirates tried to mount a comeback in the third quarter, outscoring Westampton Tech 15-9 to get within seven, but the Panthers responded with a 15-5 fourth quarter to seal the victory.
Westampton Tech’s defense was particularly effective, recording 11 steals and seven blocks as a team. Livingstone was disruptive on the defensive end with four steals and three blocks to complement his offensive output.
Ben Smith and Michael Schnatz contributed eight and seven points, respectively, for Cinnaminson, with each connecting on two 3-pointers.
