Tata Electronics will serve as a manufacturing partner for Qualcomm Automotive Modules to support the growing global demand for modular automotive platforms. <\/p>\n

Qualcomm Technologies will manufacture the products in India at Tata Electronics\u2019 upcoming semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) facility in Jagiroad, Assam. The technology is required by various Indian and global automakers for digital cockpits, infotainment, connectivity, and intelligent vehicle systems.<\/p>\n

Qualcomm Automotive Modules integrate the Snapdragon Digital Chassis system-on-chips (SoCs) with essential system components into a single, production-ready module. By simplifying system design and accelerating development timelines, Qualcomm Automotive Modules enable scalable, turnkey architectures that support the industry\u2019s transition to software-defined vehicles.<\/p>\n

The greenfield, high-volume semiconductor assembly and test facility in Jagiroad, Assam is India\u2019s first indigenous OSAT facility, being built with an investment of $3 billion. The facility will focus on crucial platform technologies \u2014 Wire Bond, Flip Chip, and Integrated Systems Packaging (ISP) \u2014 to manufacture products critical for key applications in industries such as automotive, communications, IoT, and AI. <\/p>\n
