Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has introduced a factory-fitted partition for the ID. Buzz electric van, enabling the five-seat model to combine passenger and cargo transport functions. The partition system, developed with Dutch company Snoeks Automotive, separates the rear load compartment from the passenger area.<\/p>\n
The partition is installed behind the second row of seats during production and allows goods to be loaded up to roof height in the rear compartment. A window integrated into the partition maintains rear visibility, while a fold-open stowage compartment for the charging cable is installed in the load area floor.<\/p>\n

The system is made from Compax, a lightweight composite material with a soft-touch finish. Volkswagen said rear seat belts and side airbags remain fully functional with the partition installed.<\/p>\n
The partition is available for the short-wheelbase ID. Buzz in Freestyle, Pure, Energy, and Pro trim levels. Long-wheelbase versions are limited to Energy and Pro configurations. Pricing in Germany is set at \u20ac1,856.40 including the charging cable stowage compartment.<\/p>\n
Volkswagen and Snoeks Automotive have collaborated for 70 years, with Snoeks systems also used in the Caddy, Transporter, Caravelle, Multivan, and Crafter models.<\/p>\n
