The volume of rail freight on the Dutch rail network has shrunk for the third year in a row. As in previous years, the decline of coal transportation accounts for much of the explanation. The intermodal segment remains resilient, but infrastructure manager ProRail points out that there are vulnerabilities that could undermine it.<\/strong><\/p>\n
