Hong Kong Air Cargo (HKAC) has launched scheduled services connecting Hong Kong International (HKG) and <\/strong>Larnaca International (LCA) in Cyprus.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the second destination that the cargo airline has added to its network in recent weeks and is also its 15th overall destination.<\/p>\n

Flights will start from 17 February, said HKAC. The airline confirmed that HKG-LCA flights would take place on Tuesdays, while LCA-HKG return flights will also be carried out on a Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis new connection strengthens our position in the Eastern Mediterranean and supports broader cargo access across Europe and nearby regions, offering customers dependable and efficient transport options,\u201d said the airline.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe look forward to working closely with our partners as we expand our network across Asia and the Mediterranean.\u201d<\/p>\n

The airline commenced scheduled charter flights between HKG and Athens International Airport (ATH)<\/a> on 2 February.<\/p>\n

HKAC has steadily expanded into Europe, in part to meet e-commerce demand in the region. The airline started operations in the region in October 2023 with a service to Milan Malpensa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In February 2024, HKAC began operating a new route to Liege in Belgium<\/a>, then in September 2024, it expanded its network to Oslo<\/a> in Norway.<\/p>\n

The UK in particular has been a major focal point for HKAC\u2019s European operations. In February 2024, the airline started operating to London Stansted (STN)<\/a> then in October 2024, it launched a route to Birmingham (BHX)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In February 2025, the airline began flying to Glasgow Prestwick (PIK)<\/a> and in November 2025 it began operations at East Midlands Airport (EMA).<\/a><\/p>\n

In January this year, HKAC added an Airbus A330-200 passenger to freighter (P2F) aircraft to its fleet of five A330-200 production freighters, all dry leased from parent company Hong Kong Airlines.<\/p>\n

The airline also has an EFW-converted Airbus A330-300P2F that is on ACMI lease.<\/p>\n
