As automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier-1 suppliers aim to integrate generative AI (GenAI) and complex sensor fusion algorithms into vehicles, the computational requirements have surpassed the capabilities of legacy silicon development workflows.<\/p>\n<p>The automotive industry is witnessing a divergence, as the amount of software code required to operate a modern vehicle cannot wait for the fabrication of physical silicon. This relates to extended cycle times due to the physics of advanced process nodes (7 nm and below).<\/p>\n<p>The partnership between SiMa Technologies Inc. (<a href=\"http:\/\/sima.ai\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/sima.ai\/\">SiMa.ai)<\/a>&nbsp;and Synopsys offers a framework for the development of automotive systems-on-chips (SoCs) to deliver AI-enabled SDVs.
