February 06, (THEWILL) \u2014 Versat Automobile Limited, on Friday, officially unveiled the C&C U400 Heavy-Duty Trucks to the Nigerian market, marking its formal entry into the commercial truck segment.<\/p>\n

The unveiling ceremony, held at the company\u2019s Victoria Island office in Lagos, featured an in-depth presentation of the C&C U400 Trucks, a live product showcase, and networking sessions with stakeholders, clients, the media and key decision makers <\/p>\n

Speaking at the unveiling, Executive Director, Versat Automobile, Ebere Anenih, said the gathering is not only about the unveiling of the trucks, but also about the introduction of a brand, a brand built on vision, experience, and a deep commitment to supporting Nigeria\u2019s industrial and economic growth.<\/p>\n

Also speaking at the event, Ifeanyi Igbokwe, After-Sales Manager of Versat Automobile, disclosed that the truck comes with a 2-year warranty or 2,000km or whichever comes first, emphasising that the warranty covers the engine and the powertrain. <\/p>\n

\u201cFor each truck we sell, we will offer free driver training, which will not be a one-off thing but continuous\u201d, he assured. <\/p>\n

Igbokwe also made it clear that the company\u2019s vision goes beyond product performance, engineering strength and operational capacity. <\/p>\n

According to him, true customer confidence and long-term success in the commercial vehicle sector are built on reliable and consistent after-sales support.<\/p>\n

Igbokwe explained that at Versat, the sale of a truck marks the beginning of a long-term relationship with customers, not the end. He noted that the real value of a commercial vehicle brand is measured by how well it supports customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their trucks, especially in Nigeria\u2019s demanding operating environment.<\/p>\n

As the company officially enters the Nigerian market, he reaffirmed Versat\u2019s commitment to stand behind every truck it sells with the right parts, skilled personnel, strong technical support and a long-term dedication to customer success.<\/p>\n

In his presentation, the Sales Manager of Versat Automobile, Umo Ekanem, said that the new truck, founded by two strong entities, C&C and Cherry Group, was adopted into the Nigerian market due to its amazing features. <\/p>\n

Describing the truck as a vehicle with safe, high performance, good appearance and robust fuel economy, Ekanem noted that the C&C U400 heavy-duty truck has the safest cabin construction. <\/p>\n

In terms of truck appearance, Ekanem said the vehicle is a very simple truck and not complicated, adding that \u201cany driver can drive it and use it because it is not complicated. It doesn\u2019t need much fuel or maintenance. The truck has very high ground clearance. Whoever buys it has peace of mind.\u201d <\/p>\n

Speaking in the same vein, a key business partner, Senior Marketing Manager, Chery Commercial Vehicle International, Ben Jin, endorsed the authenticity of Versat Automobile Limited products. <\/p>\n

Jin said Chery Group and C&C Group started the visionary collaboration many years ago, and that Versat Automobile was brought in to serve as a strong backup, especially in spare parts and other needs. <\/p>\n

Jin said Chery Group sold about 2.8 million vehicles, and its revenue rose to tens of billions of US dollars last year. <\/p>\n

Chery Group reported total revenue of about $59.7 billion in 2025, according to the Fortune Global 500 ranking. <\/p>\n

\u201cChery Group ranked 233rd in the 2025 Fortune Global 500\u201d, the Marketing Manager said. <\/p>\n

The high point of the event was the unveiling of the impressive trucks by the Chairman of Versat Automobile Limited, Alhaji Francis Ogboro, who inspected both the interior and exterior of the vehicles displayed for the public. <\/p>\n

Earlier, Alhaji Ogboro had presented awards to some of their biggest clients and customers. First was his presentation to their first customer, Mr Frank Ofodile, who had indicated interest in 300 units of the newly unveiled trucks. The other awardee was also a partner, Senior Marketing Manager, Chery Commercial Vehicle International, Ben Jin. <\/p>\n

In his response after the presentation, Mr Ofodile said, \u201cI have been a Versat Automobile Limited customer, and I know they have excellent products. I do not have doubts about them. I am going to partner with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The event was well attended by stakeholders in the nation\u2019s automotive industry. <\/p>\n
