Cartrack, a subsidiary of Nasdaq-listed Karooooo, has partnered with European semi-trailer manufacturer Schmitz Cargobull to integrate TrailerConnect telematics data into Cartrack\u2019s software-as-a-service fleet platform, enabling transport operators to access real-time trailer insights including temperature, location, route and load condition. The company said the integration takes place automatically when customers opt in and use OEM-fitted telematics devices, with no additional hardware installation required.<\/p>\n

Cartrack said the platform enables fleet operators to track and manage trailer performance, monitor cargo temperatures for sensitive freight, predict and schedule maintenance, and increase visibility across mixed-asset fleets. The integration is compliant with EU data protection regulations.<\/p>\n
