\ndeals in January 2026, marking a 9 per cent<\/strong> drop in deal volume and a 24
\nper cent<\/strong> decline in funding compared with the same month year before. <\/p>\n

Regionally, Germany<\/strong> stood out, with startups raising \u20ac1.8
\nbillion<\/strong>, reinforcing the country\u2019s growing share of European funding
\ndespite the broader slowdown. Sector activity remained fragmented, with fintech<\/strong>
\nattracting \u20ac1.5 billion<\/strong> during the month.<\/p>\n

Cloover has completed a $22 million Series A equity round and secured a $1.2 billion debt facility, bringing total capital commitments to $1.22 billion<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n
