NORTHLINK has warned of possible disruption to ferry services for the next seven days.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Hrossey<\/em> could be almost four hours late in arriving into Aberdeen tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, with an estimated arrival time of 11am depending on harbour clearance.<\/p>\n

Monday\u2019s freight sailings of the Helliar<\/em> and Hildasay<\/em> have both been cancelled due to the adverse forecast.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, the passenger sailing of the Hrossey<\/em> from Aberdeen to Lerwick is currently under review, with an update to follow in the morning.<\/p>\n

NorthLink has also said that both freight sailings of the Helliar<\/em> and Hildasay<\/em> are again under review on Tuesday, with a \u201chigh probability of cancellation\u201d.<\/p>\n

It comes with a yellow warning for snow now in place from Tuesday at 6pm.<\/p>\n

The Met Office has issued the warning from Tuesday until midnight on Wednesday night, with wintry showers set to become more persistent late on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Accumulations of 1-3cm are expected widely, with strong winds adding to possible blizzard conditions and drifting of lying snow.<\/p>\n
