The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall<\/a> for more than 560,000 vehicles due to faulty airbags.<\/p>\n

Hyundai is recalling 568,000 of its Hyundai Palisade SUVS because their third-row side-curtain airbags may not properly deploy. <\/p>\n

The recall encompasses all 2020-2025 Hyundai Palisades manufactured between April 10, 2019, and June 16, 2025.<\/p>\n

These vehicles \u201cmight have increased risk of injury to third row occupants during certain crashes including a rollover,\u201d according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. <\/p>\n

The recall comes after the the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration performed a routine safety standard compliance test that determined the defect existed in the vehicles.<\/p>\n

Hyundai is still conducting an investigation into the matter and is currently developing a remedy. The car manufacturer will reimburse customers for out-of-pocket remedies used to fix the faulty airbags. <\/p>\n

Hyundai will mail out owner notification letters on March 23, 2026.<\/p>\n
