At Pamex, Kapoor Imaging highlights sustainable prepress, showcasing Kodak\u2019s low-power CTP technology and compact flexo solutions designed to eliminate chemicals and reduce operational footprints.\n<\/p>\n

Kapoor Imaging showcased a commitment to environmental sustainability and space efficiency at Pamex 2026, centring its exhibit on Kodak\u2019s latest Computer-to-Plate (CTP) technology and compact flexo processing units. Giridharan S, executive director at Kapoor Imaging, reported a high volume of engagement following a busy opening day, with the company aiming to finalise several deals by the conclusion of the event.<\/p>\n

The centrepiece of the display is the Kodak thermal CTP machine, which Giridharan highlighted as the lowest power-consuming unit of its kind globally. Beyond energy efficiency, the machine features a lightweight design and scalability, allowing users to upgrade from standard processing speeds to higher performance tiers as their production needs grow. <\/p>\n

A primary technical advantage is its compatibility with process-free plates. This Develop-on-Press (DOP) technology eliminates the need for traditional processors and chemicals, as the plate is exposed and moved directly to the press, significantly reducing the carbon footprint of the printing cycle.<\/p>\n

In addition to offset solutions, Kapoor Imaging is promoting a compact flexo plate-making workflow. The display includes a tabletop exposure and drying unit designed to minimize floor space requirements. According to Giridharan, these units allow a full flexo plate-making operation to be established within a footprint of approximately 800-sq\/ft. <\/p>\n

Looking ahead through 2026, the company\u2019s focus remains on the transition to green printing. Giridharan noted an industry-wide trend toward process-free plates, which offer customers improved print quality through first-generation imaging while simultaneously reducing water and chemical consumption. To support this shift, Kapoor Imaging has initiated widespread customer trials, many of which have already resulted in full-scale adoption of the technology.<\/p>\n
