Cybersecurity and data science have increasingly become central to innovation, governance and business growth on the continent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">According to the organisers, the programme is designed to deliver industry-relevant training aligned with global standards. Participants will undergo a structured curriculum that combines foundational knowledge with hands-on learning and real-world application, with the goal of producing job-ready talent capable of meeting current market needs.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">Speaking on the initiative, the Head of Marketing at TD Africa, Fridel Makun, said the programme reflects the company\u2019s commitment to strengthening digital capacity and expanding access to quality technology education for young people. He noted that Africa\u2019s digital future depends on practical skills development rather than inspiration alone.<\/span> <\/p>\n<div class=\"related-article\">\n<h3>Related News<\/h3>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cAt TD Africa, we believe Africa\u2019s digital future will be shaped by people who are equipped, not just inspired. \u2018Code Your Defence\u2019 is our way of expanding access to training that builds confidence, competence and career readiness. By investing in cybersecurity and data science, we are helping young Africans develop skills that are globally relevant and urgently needed across industries,\u201d Makun said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">Successful participants will receive professional training delivered by experienced instructors, access to an industry-standard curriculum, and opportunities to obtain globally recognised certifications. The programme also offers pathways to job placements, internships and broader career advancement.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">The training is open to students and recent graduates, early-career professionals seeking to upskill, as well as individuals looking to transition into cybersecurity or data science.
