Wexco Cargo GSSA and China Airlines have agreed a new two-year extension to their UK general sales agent partnership, starting in January 2026.<\/p>\n

Wexco Cargo GSSA has supported China Airlines\u2019 UK cargo activity across bellyhold capacity on passenger flights, dedicated freighter services, and road feeder operations since 2012, working closely with the airline\u2019s teams at London Heathrow Airport (LHR), Luxembourg (LUX), and Taipei (TPE).<\/p>\n

Des Vertannes, managing director of Wexco Cargo GSSA, which is part of the Kales Group B.V., said: \u201cChina Airlines and Wexco truly define how tangible collaboration delivers optimal performance and success.<\/p>\n

\u201cA shared focus on solutions-driven outcomes and a customer-first approach have enabled us to deliver a consistently high standard of service for the UK market, both companies are extremely proud of.\u201d<\/p>\n

China Airlines currently operates five direct flights per week from LHR to TPE, with freighter services via LUX supported by regular road feeder services from the UK, and onward connections to selected Asian destinations, including Hong Kong, Bangkok, Thailand, and Manila, Philippines.<\/p>\n

Alan Price, cargo sales and services head of Europe at China Airlines, said: \u201cWe have always felt that China Airlines is excellently represented by Wexco in the UK and that our customers are in very good hands.<\/p>\n

Since the beginning of the partnership, Wexco has supported China Airlines to adapt and expand its cargo offering, including supporting its \u2018preighter\u2019 flights during the pandemic and adapting road feeder services to accommodate new post-Brexit customs parameters.<\/p>\n
