The 18-product series uses Rohm\u2019s proprietary Nano Cap technology to enable stable operation with output capacitors below 1\u00b5F, supporting ultra-small multi-layer ceramic capacitors as small as 0.6mm x 0.3mm where stability was previously difficult to achieve.<\/p>\n<p>The new series builds on Rohm\u2019s BD9xxN1 series launched in 2022, increasing output current to more than three times the previous 150mA. The regulators achieve output voltage ripple of approximately 250mV with load current variation of 1mA to 500mA within 1\u00b5s using output capacitance of just 470nF.<\/p>\n<p>Mass production commenced in October 2025 at a monthly capacity of 300,000 units, with a sample price of US$2.00 per unit. The series is available through online distributors including DigiKey, Mouser and Farnell.
