The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (GE Shipping<\/a>) on Monday delivered its 2002-built LPG vessel<\/a> ‘Jag Vishnu<\/a>‘ to unnamed buyers, a carrier that was contracted for sale in Q3 FY26. This delivery is a part of company’s fleet overhaul drive.<\/p>\n

“GE Shipping delivered its 2002-built Very Large Gas Carrier<\/a> \u201cJag Vishnu\u201d to the buyers,” the company said in a regulatory filing.<\/p>\n

Last month, the shipping service provider took delivery of the 2013 South Korean-built Medium Range Tanker \u201cJag Pranesh\u201d with a capacity of about 51,565 dwt on February 24. The vessel, as GE Shipping said, was financed entirely from internal accruals
The company has contracted to buy one second-hand Kamsarmax Dry Bulk Carrier<\/a>, a transaction which is expected to be completed by Q1 FY27.<\/p>\n

Following the transaction, GE Shipping’s owned fleet stands at 40 vessels, comprising 26 tankers (5 crude tankers<\/a>, 17 product tankers, 4 LPG carriers<\/a>) and 14 dry bulk carriers (2 capesize, 9 kamsarmax, 1 ultramax, 2 supramax) aggregating 3.20 million dwt.<\/p>\n
