Synopsys reaffirms its long-term commitment to supporting the development of education in Armenia, stated Raja Tabet, Senior Vice President of the Engineering Excellence Group at Synopsys (USA), at a meeting with RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan. <\/div>\n

YEREVAN, March 30. \/ARKA\/. Synopsys reaffirms its long-term commitment to supporting the development of education in Armenia, stated Raja Tabet, Senior Vice President of the Engineering Excellence Group at Synopsys (USA), at a meeting with RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan.<\/p>\n

Tabet noted that the company’s STEM and artificial intelligence programs at universities and high schools play a key role in training a new generation of engineers and strengthening the country’s technological ecosystem, according to the press service of the RA Ministry of High-Tech Industry.<\/p>\n

Hayrapetyan, in turn, emphasized that Synopsys’s long-term presence in Armenia creates significant added value, contributing to the formation of an engineering and technological ecosystem, and significantly impacting the development of the country’s semiconductor industry and the design and engineering of AI-based chips.<\/p>\n

The minister also noted the importance of Armenia’s strategic partnership with Synopsys at the global level, based on the principles of public-private cooperation and a commitment to investment.
Hayrapetyan also touched on Armenia’s vision for technological development, emphasizing the strategic importance of the Firebird and Eleveight AI projects. He stated that these initiatives are aimed at creating an environment for high-performance computing and data processing.<\/p>\n

He noted that the state intends to provide access to modern computing infrastructure and create an “AI data center park” where both local and international technology companies can develop.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
