Latvian shipbuilder Latitude Yachts has launched a new naval division and unveiled its first project, the tactical catamaran LNT-27, designed for maritime security, patrol, and specialized offshore operations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The newly created company Latitude Naval Technologies will develop production in Latvia, employing the local workforce and enhancing the country\u2019s engineering competence. It is planned to build a modern infrastructure for composite shipbuilding in Riga.<\/p>\n

The first project of the new company \u2013 the tactical catamaran LNT-27 \u2013 is intended for use in maritime security operations, patrolling, and other specialized tasks where a fast, stable, and efficient marine platform is required.<\/p>\n

Latitude Construction, operating under the Latitude Yachts brand at the Port of Riga, has over two decades of experience designing and building ships, yachts, and various maritime platforms. The company works with traditional materials like steel and aluminum as well as modern composites.<\/p>\n

With partnerships across Europe and the United States, Latitude Yachts has built a track record in executing international projects and providing integrated engineering and production solutions. <\/p>\n

Its expertise extends beyond ship design to advanced manufacturing technologies, including large-scale composite structures and robotic precision milling, allowing the production of complex geometries and high-precision components for modern shipbuilding.<\/p>\n
