Einride has received approval from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to operate its autonomous truck in Austin, Texas, marking the Swedish technology company\u2019s fifth state-level road approval in the United States. The company has previously received approval for deployments in Arizona, Colorado, South Carolina, and Tennessee.<\/p>\n
Einride demonstrated its cab-less, SAE Level 4 autonomous electric truck in Austin on 19 March 2026 before an audience of analysts, investors and media, in connection with an Analyst and Investor Day event. The occasion also formed part of the company\u2019s preparations for a US public market listing in the first half of 2026, supported by a US$113m oversubscribed capital raise tied to a proposed business combination with Legato Merger Corp. III.<\/p>\n

The company operates its vehicles under a Freight-Capacity-as-a-Service model, combining autonomous and electric trucks, AI optimisation software, and charging infrastructure. Einride says it serves more than 30 enterprise customers across seven countries and holds approximately US$92m in expected annual recurring revenue from signed contracts, with over US$800m in potential long-term recurring revenue through joint business plans with existing customers.<\/p>\n
