Members Meeting.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the flagship Application &amp; Digi-Tech Series 2026, a seminar titled \u201cAI for MSMEs: Driving Productivity, Profitability, and Growth\u201d showcased how local businesses can leverage advanced technologies to stay competitive.<\/p>\n<p>Delivering the keynote, Saji Gopinath, Vice Chancellor of Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology, described AI as a \u201cgeneral-purpose technology\u201d and a \u201cgreat equalizer.\u201d He urged entrepreneurs to move beyond merely applying AI to existing processes and instead rethink and reinvent their business models.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar underlined that AI can significantly boost productivity by automating routine and repetitive tasks, enabling businesses to redeploy human resources toward higher-value functions such as innovation, strategic decision-making, and customer relationship-building.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas John Muthoot, Chairman of the CII Southern Region and Muthoot Fincorp Ltd, in his special address highlighted the strategic importance of technology in the region. MSMEs can use AI to free up time for what matters most, purpose-driven work and real human interaction, he added.<\/p>\n<p>Joseph M.
