Finnish health-tech company \u014cURA has entered India with the launch of its Oura Ring 4 \u2014 a smart ring that tracks over 50 health and wellness indicators, the company said. The product will be available from tomorrow through Crom\u0101 stores and Amazon, it added.<\/p>\n

The wearable Oura Ring 4 translates health data into personalized insights through the Oura App (iOS and Android), the company said. Using \u014cURA smart sensing technology, the ring uses smart algorithms and research-grade sensors that adjust to each person\u2019s uniqueness \u2013 including finger shape, skin tone, and other individual differences, it said. \u201cIts multi-wavelength sensing system and 18 signal pathways give a clearer, more reliable picture of your body, turning those signals into more precise, personalised health insights,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n

The product is made from lightweight titanium with recessed sensors for 24\/7 comfort, including during sleep, the company said, and it would be in 12 sizes (4\u201315), besides six finishes black, silver, stealth, brushed silver, gold, and rose gold.<\/p>\n

The product is priced at \u20b928,900 (silver and black) and \u20b939,900 (stealth, brushed silver, gold, and rose gold), and its monthly membership is \u20b9599.00.<\/p>\n

Citing a study conducted by the company, Doug Sweeny, Chief Marketing Officer, \u014cURA, said, \u201cThe data is clear: sleep is the foundation of health, but Indians\u2019 ultra\u2011connected, fast\u2011paced lives are at odds with getting great sleep.\u201d<\/p>\n

The report found that India is among the shortest\u2011sleeping populations in the \u014cURA global dataset, with Oura members in India averaging 6 hours and 28 minutes of sleep per night – around 40 minutes less than the longest\u2011sleeping countries, a note from the company said. \u201cWith guidelines recommending 7\u20139 hours of sleep per night for healthy adults, many Indians are building up sleep debt, a pattern shaped by the country\u2019s multi\u2011country work schedules, expanding night\u2011time social lives, and always\u2011on, connected lifestyles,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n
