A movement of local parents and teachers concerned about tech use in schools is growing. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As the school year has progressed, they\u2019ve spoken during public comment at board meetings, have come together for events like the Parent Empowerment Program talks on screen addiction and the effects of artificial intelligence on the brain. Last Sunday, about 150 to 175 people from across the district came to Ch\u00e1vez Elementary for the screening and discussion of \u201cScreenagers<\/a>: Elementary Edition.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
