href=\"https:\/\/www.ldc.com\/press-releases\/louis-dreyfus-company-appoints-chief-financial-officer\/\">appointed S\u00e9bastien Landerretche<\/a>, an 11-year veteran of the agricultural trading giant and global head of freight since 2015, as its next permanent CFO effective Wednesday, according to a Friday company release.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>The move comes about three months after the company appointed an advisor, Nigel Mamalis, as its interim finance chief in the wake of the unexpected passing of its previous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfodive.com\/news\/louis-dreyfus-names-interim-cfos-death\/808906\/\">CFO Patrick Treuer<\/a>, 52, who died in late December.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, LDC\u2019s CEO Michael Gelchie cited Landerretche\u2019s company experience in his comments on the incoming finance chief. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>\u201cI am confident that S\u00e9bastien\u2019s extensive experience and deep
