Sagar Defence Engineering has officially laid the foundation for the world\u2019s first autonomous maritime shipbuilding and systems centre in Juvvaladinne Fishing Harbour, Andhra Pradesh. This groundbreaking facility aims to enhance India\u2019s indigenous defence manufacturing and advance maritime technology. With direct sea access, the centre is poised to revolutionize vessel construction, testing, and deployment.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Sagar Defence Engineering marked a significant milestone by laying the foundation stone for its autonomous maritime shipbuilding centre in the Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh<\/a>. The facility spans 29.58 acres, including 7.58 acres of waterfront land, providing essential access for various maritime operations. This initiative aligns with the state\u2019s vision to strengthen the marine technology ecosystem and foster advanced manufacturing capabilities along the coastline.<\/p>\n

Andhra Pradesh\u2019s Minister for Human Resources Development, IT, Electronics & Communications, Nara Lokesh, officiated the ceremony. He expressed gratitude to Nikunj Parashar, the founder and CEO of Sagar Defence Engineering, for choosing Andhra Pradesh as the site for this ambitious project. Lokesh emphasized the importance of collaboration between policymakers, bureaucrats, and entrepreneurs in driving India\u2019s growth trajectory.
