TagMaster is showcasing its latest traffic detection technology at Intertraffic Amsterdam this week, highlighting real-world road safety improvements achieved through its multi-technology sensor systems.<\/p>\n

The company, a supplier of advanced sensor systems and data solutions for smart city traffic management, is exhibiting alongside its US subsidiary Sensys Networks at the event on booth 05.134.<\/p>\n

At the exhibition, Sensys Networks is demonstrating how integrated detection systems can support Vision Zero initiatives by helping road authorities improve traffic safety and efficiency. The approach combines wireless in-road sensors, multi-lane radar and AI-based video analytics to create proactive detection networks for intersections and highways.<\/p>\n

By integrating several sensor technologies into a single system, traffic operators can gain more reliable detection of vehicles and vulnerable road users, while identifying incidents more quickly. This combination enables authorities to respond faster to hazards, reduce collision risks and improve traffic flow in complex traffic environments.<\/p>\n

TagMaster highlighted several examples of measurable results from deployments of its technology. In the Melbourne region, coordinated ramp metering at highway on- and off-ramps helped reduce traffic accidents by 31%. In the UK, dynamic speed limit systems supported by the company\u2019s detection technology contributed to an 18% reduction in injury-related accidents.<\/p>\n

The company also pointed to a recent incident in the Vuache Tunnel in eastern France, where an AI-based detection system identified a stationary truck before a fire could develop, allowing operators to intervene quickly.<\/p>\n

At Intertraffic, Sensys Networks is presenting solutions including AI video and wireless sensor-based intersection detection, multi-lane radar for dynamic speed management and AI-powered incident detection. The company says combining different sensor technologies allows traffic authorities to deploy tailored detection strategies suited to environments ranging from dense urban streets to high-volume highways.<\/p>\n
