A company backed by the sons of United States President, Donald Trump, is moving to take a drone technology firm public, marking the latest expansion of the Trump family\u2019s growing footprint in the rapidly expanding defence-tech sector.<\/p>\n
Aureus Greenway Holdings, a golf club company supported by Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., announced plans to merge with drone manufacturer Powerus in a deal designed to list the technology firm on public markets.<\/p>\n
The transaction highlights how businesses linked to the Trump family are increasingly positioning themselves within the booming drone and military technology industry, an area that has attracted significant government spending and investor interest.<\/p>\n
According to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the merged company would focus on advanced drone systems and autonomous maritime technology.<\/p>\n
Andrew Fox, founder of Powerus, is expected to serve as chief executive officer and chairman of the combined entity.<\/p>\n
Powerus, established in 2025, manufactures heavy-lift drones capable of transporting industrial payloads of up to 675 kilograms.<\/p>\n
The company also provides services that convert existing manned boats into remotely operated or fully autonomous vessels.<\/p>\n

Dominari, an investment firm tied to the deal, counts both Trump brothers among its shareholders, each holding stakes of roughly six percent.<\/p>\n
If completed, the merger would allow Powerus to access public capital markets to expand its drone manufacturing and autonomous systems technology. However, Aureus noted in the filing that either company may terminate the agreement if the transaction is not finalised by the end of 2026.<\/p>\n
