BBC Breakfast viewers voiced their frustrations as the programme’s Tech Now segment aired on Sunday. Luxmy Gopal and Ben Thompson were at the helm, delivering the day’s main headlines.<\/p>\n

Yet audiences were far from pleased when the Tech Now feature turned out to be a rerun of previously shown content.<\/p>\n

Viewers flocked to X to air their disappointment, with one posting: “#BBCbreakfast repeating last year’s breakfast story on their latest technology show lol..<\/p>\n

“Wasn’t this on yesterday? #BBCBreakfast,” questioned another, whilst a third responded: “Good man, making sure you haven’t missed it.<\/p>\n

“Tech Now is bad enough the first time you see it..Repeat episodes are ten times worse,” remarked someone else, reports the Mirror<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Another viewer expressed anger: “My licence fee pays this?”<\/p>\n

That said, not all viewers were displeased, with one commenting: “Ooh, don’t mind this bit.”<\/p>\n

The Tech Now feature kicked off at a Motoring Centre in Ireland, showcasing how staff monitor traffic to ensure driver safety. The presenter highlighted how employees were incorporating AI into their daily operations.<\/p>\n

Further segments included synchronised robots in Japan, whilst wildlife photographer Tim Flach spoke about the difficulties of photographing cats.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, viewers were delighted to see Luxmy fronting the show, with one remarking, “Great to see Luxmy this morning on breakfast.”<\/p>\n

Saturday’s edition of BBC<\/a> Breakfast was equally packed, with fans particularly pleased when Naga Munchetty delivered some uplifting news about Punch, a baby monkey in Japan. Charlie Stayt opened with: “Now, you may be familiar with the story of Punch. That’s the baby monkey that was given a cuddly toy. There he is, after he was rejected by his family at the zoo in Japan. A bit worried about him.”<\/p>\n

Delivering the encouraging development, Naga continued: “We have an update there, a positive update. Keepers have gradually been reintroducing Punch to the macaque troop, and it seems he’s parted ways with his stuffed orangutan as one of the adult females has taken him under her wing.<\/p>\n

“She grooms him, she holds him. Punch has even been spotted playing with some of the younger members of the troop as well.”<\/p>\n
