TULSA, Okla. –<\/span><\/p>\n

Strong storms caused damage at the Tulsa Tech campus and several nearby homes in north Tulsa, leaving downed trees, damaged fences and parts of a building roof torn away.<\/p>\n

Severe storms caused widespread damage early Saturday near 36th Street North and Peoria in north Tulsa.<\/p>\n

At the Tulsa Tech campus, crews found broken tree limbs, damaged fencing and pieces of insulation scattered across the grounds after parts of a building roof were torn away. At least one light pole was snapped in half, and glass was blown out at the entrance to one of the buildings.<\/p>\n

Video from the scene also showed damage inside the building, where tables were overturned and broken glass covered parts of the floor.<\/p>\n
