The idea is that you stick it on to your luggage so that you can keep tabs on it and, ideally, not lose it. The same goes for your keys, wallet, or anything else that seems to go walkabout.<\/p>\n

And they also implement smart noise reduction that adapts in real time based on your surroundings.<\/p>\n

You can get those in Obsidian Black, Cloud White, or Glacier Blue.<\/p>\n
As well as all of this mobile gear, Xiaomi unveiled two arguably more thrilling items.<\/p>\n
The first is the Xiaomi Electric 6 Ultra scooter, which \u2013 as the name suggests \u2013 is an electric scooter.<\/p>\n
But it comes fitted with 12-inch all-terrain tyres, high ground clearance, and promises to work on \u201cgrass, gravel, stone pavement, and asphalt\u201d.<\/p>\n

The headline act was the new Xiaomi 17 Ultra<\/a>, which is meant to be a direct rival to the iPhone 17 Pro Max<\/a> and Samsung<\/a> Galaxy S26 Ultra<\/a>.<\/p>\n It\u2019s got a large and bright 6.9-inch OLED display, is powered by Qualcomm\u2019s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and comes with 16GB of RAM plus 512GB of storage.<\/p>\n And it comes in three colours: Black, White, and a fun Starlit Green option with a sparkly effect that Xiaomi told The Sun was made possible by using five separate layers of composite fibreglass with a sparkle layer embedded.<\/p>\n But the most interesting part of the phone is its triple-camera module, which was built in partnership with German camera titan Leica.<\/p>\n Read more on Xiaomi <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n EASY CELL<\/p>\n New top-end phone is CHEAPER than best iPhone with camera perk Samsung is missing<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n <\/a> <\/p>\n TECH IT!<\/p>\n China’s Xiaomi opens UK shop with cheap phones to rival Apple & it might sell CARS<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n <\/a> <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n It concludes a 50-megapixel camera that uses a large 1-inch sensor to collect as much light as possible (which is especially handy in nighttime shooting).<\/p>\n Plus there\u2019s a 50-megapixel ultra-wide Leica camera with a 115-degree field of view.<\/p>\n But most unique of all is the 200-megapixel 75-100mm telephoto zoom camera, which features<\/span> proper mechanical zoom (like what you might find in a standalone camera).<\/p>\n That means at between 3.2x and 4.3x zoom, you\u2019re getting true optical zoom \u2013 no computational tricks, or cropping and blowing up the image.<\/p>\n And there\u2019s also a 50-megapixel selfie camera for good measure.<\/p>\n There\u2019s also a cheaper alternative called the Xiaomi 17, which loses the mechanical camera, but includes a slightly larger battery.<\/p>\n Here’s what you need to know… <\/p>\n Display:<\/strong> 6.9-inch HyperRGB OLED (2608 x 1200 resolution)<\/p>\n Refresh Rate:<\/strong> 1-120Hz LTPO<\/p>\n Brightness:<\/strong> 3,500 nits peak brightness<\/p>\n Processor:<\/strong> Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5<\/p>\n Memory (RAM):<\/strong> 16GB as standard<\/p>\n Storage:<\/strong> 512GB or 1TB<\/p>\n Rear Cameras:<\/strong><\/p>\n Front Camera:<\/strong> 50MP selfie snapper<\/p>\n Video:<\/strong> 8K at 30fps \/ 4K Dolby Vision at 120fps<\/p>\n Battery:<\/strong> 6,000mAh<\/p>\n Charging:<\/strong> 90W wired HyperCharge \/ 50W wireless<\/p>\n Durability:<\/strong> IP68 dust and water resistant; Xiaomi Shield Glass 3.0<\/p>\n Security:<\/strong> In-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor<\/p>\n Colours:<\/strong> Black, White, and Starlit Green<\/p>\n Price:<\/strong> Starts at \u00a31,299 (512GB) \/ \u00a31,499 (1TB)<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n And it comes with three months of Google<\/a> AI Pro at no extra cost.<\/p>\n And if you want to spend big, you could splash out on Leica\u2019s own Leitzphone, which was built in partnership with Xiaomi.<\/p>\n It\u2019s largely similar to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, but it has a special perk.<\/p>\n There\u2019s actually a mechanical ring encircling the camera module on the back of the phone.<\/p>\n And you can twist this just like you would on a real camera to make adjustments to, for instance, focus or zoom.<\/p>\n It\u2019s aimed at photography<\/span> aficionados who want to get that physical feel of camera without lugging heavy equipment around.<\/p>\n As well as new mobiles, Xiaomi also showed off an iPad Pro<\/a>-esque Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro, which also comes paired with a Focus Pen Pro stylus.<\/p>\n It has an enormous 9,200mAh battery for all-day use, as well as an 11.2-inch 3.2k display with a 144Hz refresh rate (that means the display can refresh its image 144 times every second for a smooth visual effect).<\/p>\n It\u2019s powered by Qualcomm\u2019s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and supports speedy 67W HyperCharge charging.<\/p>\n You\u2019ve got the new Xiaomi Watch 5, which uses a micro-detection system to pick up hand gestures.<\/p>\n That way, you can control the smartwatch just by tapping your fingers together.<\/p>\n And you can also use this system to remotely trigger your mobile\u2019s camera shutter, which is less awkward than using a timer.<\/p>\n Xiaomi says it\u2019ll last for six days on a single charge in smart mode, courtesy of a 930mAh battery.<\/p>\n And then there are two more mobile accessories too.<\/p>\n You\u2019ve got the Xiaomi Power<\/span> Bank, which uses a 5,000mAh silicon carbon cell to recharge your gadgets.<\/p>\n However, it\u2019s a strikingly svelte 6mm thin, and also supports MagSafe charging \u2013 meaning it\u2019ll tag onto your iPhone too.<\/p>\n Then there\u2019s the Xiaomi Tag, which is an AirTag-style tracker tag that serves up a year of battery life.<\/p>\n And it also works with Android\u2019s Find Hub and Apple\u2019s Find My.<\/p>\n The idea is that you stick it on to your luggage so that you can keep tabs on it and, ideally, not lose it.
