ALLENTOWN \u2014 The ninth-seeded Westampton Tech varsity girls\u2019 basketball team surged past the eighth-seeded Allentown High squad in the second and third quarters to bring away a 48-36 victory Wednesday in the first round of the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group III Tournament.<\/p>\n

Harmoni Cummings led all scorers with 15 points for the Panthers.<\/p>\n

Lily DeRose\u2019s 14 points were high for the Redbirds, whose season came to an end after a 16-10 campaign.<\/p>\n
