Northlink has issued a further operations update, extending the possible disruption period through to next Wednesday.
Tonight (Wednesday), the northbound Hjaltland is scheduled to leave Aberdeen at 7pm, with arrival into Lerwick subject to delays up to four hours.
The southbound Hrossey is due to leave Lerwick at 5:30pm, with the scheduled Kirkwall stop now cancelled – instead sailing straight to Aberdeen with a possible delay of up to an hour.
Both the north and southbound freight sailings have been cancelled due to adverse weather.
Tomorrow (Thursday), the northbound Hrossey is scheduled to leave Aberdeen for Kirkwall and Lerwick at 5pm, with arrival into Kirkwall subject to a possible delay of up to an hour.
The southbound Hjaltland is scheduled to leave Lerwick for Aberdeen at 7pm.
Both the north and southbound freight sailings will leave Lerwick and Aberdeen at 6pm.
