NAB Show 2026 Spotlights Content Creators, Broadcast Tech, And Industry Leaders.

The 2026 NAB Show, running April 18-22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, is gearing up with a blockbuster lineup of speakers and sessions covering the creator economy, filmmaking, streaming platforms, artificial intelligence, broadcast technology, and journalism. Exhibits run April 19-22, while programming brings together emerging voices and industry veterans to explore how media is produced, distributed, and monetized.

Newly announced sessions highlight digital-native creators like Markiplier, who has expanded into feature filmmaking with “Iron Lung,” alongside legendary cinematographer Sir Roger Deakins, offering insights into the craft of cinematic storytelling. The expanded Creator Lab, presented with Adobe and Blackmagic Design, will host sessions on measuring creator impact, navigating contracts and burnout, and leveraging AI in content creation. Registration already shows a surge in creators, influencers, podcasters, and social media producers compared with 2025.

The Media and Entertainment Theater, in partnership with The Ankler, will explore the evolving economics of media through panels including “The Scary-Smart Business of Horror,” featuring Markiplier, screenwriter Akela Cooper, and Michael Clear of Atomic Monster. Sessions such as CNN anchor John Berman’s “The Cost of Bearing Witness: Journalist Safety in a Polarized America” will examine risks facing modern journalists. Broadcast news, platform distribution, and enterprise video strategies will also be explored through sessions with industry leaders from NBCUniversal, Roku, CBS, CBC, Hearst, and Nexstar.

CineCentral will spotlight filmmaking craft, with live workshops and a special appearance from Sir Roger Deakins and James Deakins discussing insights from their careers and the book “Reflections: On Cinematography.” Practical sessions, including The Storyteller’s Guide to Production on a Tight Budget, will offer hands-on training for directors, cinematographers, and content creators.

AI and production technology are key focuses, with the addition of a second AI Pavilion on the show floor and Enterprise Video Strategies tracks exploring scalable virtual production, hybrid broadcast-broadband delivery, and cloud-based workflows. Sessions include talks with Google Cloud, Google DeepMind, Microsoft, and BBC Studios, as well as case studies on global streaming and sports media innovation.

The NAB Show’s four-day Sports Summit, powered by Lumen Technologies, will bring together league executives, media companies, and tech leaders to discuss the evolving sports media ecosystem.

Notable speakers span film, television, sports, news, technology, and platform leadership, including Stephen Brown (Fox), Carolyn Giardina, Jeff Hasler (Fremantle), Shira Lazar, John Berman (CNN), Deborah Norville, Perry Sook (Nexstar), Silvia Candiani (Microsoft), Tedd Cittadine (Roku), Robert Schildhouse (BritBox), and many others.
