2027 Toyota TRD Hammer: Everything We Know So Far
The recently filed trademark is for the “TRD Hammer” name, and that’s about as subtle as a sledgehammer to the face. Automakers don’t trademark names like this for fun, especially not ones tied to their performance division, which in this case is Toyota Racing Development.
What makes this even more interesting is that the name has popped up before. Toyota previously surveyed Toyota Tundra owners and included “TRD Hammer” as a potential future model. That suggests this isn’t a last-minute idea because it’s been quietly brewing behind the scenes already.
If this is indeed for a super truck, and if it makes it to production, then we can expect it to sit above the already capable TRD Pro models. If The Tundra get this new variant, then it will be the direct competitor to the Ford F-150 Raptor.
