Shalimar Express collides with freight train at Mehrabpur, engine and bogie damaged

MEHRABPUR  –  A collision occurred when the Shalimar Express rammed into a stationary freight train at Lakharo Road Railway Station near Mehrabpur.

The accident caused severe damage to the engine of the passenger train and the adjoining coach.

Railway authorities said the freight train was standing at the station when the Shalimar Express collided with it. Upon receiving information about the incident, railway officials and police teams rushed to the site to assess the situation and begin rescue and investigation efforts.
