Memphis International Airport launches new tech tool to help travelers get around

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Need to get around Memphis International Airport?

Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority announced Wednesday a new tech tool aimed at making it easier for travelers to explore the facility. It’s called GoodMaps, an indoor navigation and accessibility app for airports across the country.

The app offers navigation in dozens of languages, audio guidance, visual directions and real-time updates. It also uses AI camera-based positioning to deliver accurate directions down to the centimeter.

“The launch of GoodMaps supports our commitment to ensure a premier, safe, and inclusive travel experience for all,” Terry Blue, president and CEO of Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority, said in a statement. “We continue to invest in technology, training and process improvements that make air travel more accessible.”

The app can downloaded via the Apple store here and the Google Play store here.
