CarExpert New Zealand is on the hunt for a lead presenter and car reviewer to become its face and on-camera voice.
The country-wide search is a response to the growing demand from buyers for deeper, independent analysis as the new-car market becomes more complex than ever before.
With more brands entering the market, expanding model ranges, multiple powertrain options and increasingly technical specifications, the new-car buying journey can quickly become overwhelming for consumers.
A strong demand
As Australia’s fastest-growing automotive review and research platform, CarExpert has already seen this demand play out locally on its YouTube channel.
”We had more than 20 million views of our CarExpert YouTube channel in 2025,” says Paul Maric, CarExpert founder and YouTube presenter. “This reflects a clear appetite for detailed reviews and side-by-side comparisons that unpack complexity and translate it into practical, real-world advice.”
CarExpert New Zealand editor Matthew Hansen adds: “Today’s automotive audience doesn’t just want headlines, they want depth, independence and practical insight.
“This isn’t a typical presenter role. We’re looking for someone who understands vehicles at a technical level, can translate that complexity clearly on-screen and is ready to help shape the voice and editorial direction of a growing automotive brand in this market.”
