BGSU Completes Sweep at No. 16 Michigan Tech with 4-3 Overtime Win

HOUGHTON, Mich. – Jackson Niedermayer slapped a saved Ben Doran shot past the goalie 49 seconds into overtime to lift the Bowling Green Falcons (18-9-7, 15-7-4 CCHA) past the No. 16 Michigan Tech Huskies (21-12-3, 16-7-3 CCHA) on Saturday night, 4-3, inside the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena. The win completed the series sweep. Since BGSU won in overtime, it earns two of the three possible CCHA points for the game. The Falcons finish the regular season with 49 points, tied with Michigan Tech. Because BGSU and Michigan Tech only played the two games this weekend, head-to-head does not apply…
