RFHL wins global technology award

Re­pub­lic Fi­nan­cial Hold­ings Ltd (RFHL) has won the award for Best Trans­for­ma­tion Through Tech­nol­o­gy at the 2026 Glob­al Busi­ness Tech Awards.

This in­ter­na­tion­al pro­gramme recog­nis­es or­gan­i­sa­tions that demon­strate ex­cel­lence in in­dus­tri­al in­no­va­tion and ex­e­cu­tion.

The award marks a sig­nif­i­cant mile­stone for RFHL and the Caribbean fi­nan­cial ser­vices sec­tor, as it es­tab­lish­es a re­gion­al in­sti­tu­tion as a glob­al bench­mark for dig­i­tal in­te­gra­tion.

A re­lease from the bank said be­yond the ho­n­our of win­ning, the award rep­re­sents some­thing even more mean­ing­ful — a Caribbean fi­nan­cial in­sti­tu­tion set­ting the glob­al bench­mark for dig­i­tal trans­for­ma­tion.

It added that the recog­ni­tion af­firmed RFHL’s com­mit­ment to build­ing a mod­ern, ag­ile, and dig­i­tal­ly en­abled fi­nan­cial ecosys­tem de­signed to en­hance cus­tomer ex­pe­ri­ence, strength­en op­er­a­tional ef­fi­cien­cy, and sup­port sus­tain­able growth across its re­gion­al mar­kets.

Com­ment­ing on the award, Nigel Bap­tiste, group pres­i­dent and CEO of RFHL stat­ed, “This achieve­ment would not have been pos­si­ble with­out the ded­i­ca­tion and col­lab­o­ra­tion of our teams across the group. Their col­lec­tive ef­forts have po­si­tioned RFHL to com­pete not on­ly re­gion­al­ly, but con­fi­dent­ly on the glob­al stage.
