LEAVENWORTH — Leavenworth now has a new location for shipping UPS packages, rather than driving down valley.
UPS shipping is available at the local party supply boutique Mint+Sprinkle. Residents will be able to drop off their UPS packages at the store during its opening hours: Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. According to Mint + Sprinkle, UPS pickup typically occurs between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Those shipping UPS packages will have to have the shipping label ready, said Mint+Sprinkle owner Lindsey Schaible, as the store is unable to take QR codes.
Packages can also be delivered to Mint+Sprinkle to be held for customer pickup. Customers should bring a valid ID to claim their package.
The UPS drop-off is the newest addition to the shop’s shipping offerings. In January, Mint+Sprinkle became an official site for FedEx shipping, enabling customers to drop off their pre-labeled packages, purchase shipping supplies or print their shipping label at the store. The FedEx services are also available during the shop’s regular hours, with pick up times at 1 p.m. for Express shipping and 3 p.m. for Ground shipping.
The shop is located in the Innsbrucker Building at 703 US-2. For those making a quick drop, there is a free 15-minute customer load and unload area in front of the building, according to Mint+Sprinkle. Printing and copy services are not available at the boutique. However, Leavenworth Public Library, located across the street, does offer scanning, faxing, copying and printing services. The library is located at 700 US-2 and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. til evening (closing hours vary), and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Local shipping options for FedEx and UPS have been limited since the closure of Das Copy in March 2025. The nearest in-person option is The Dispatch Mailroom in Cashmere, which offers packing and shipping for all carriers, mailbox rentals and delivery holding, and printing services. The Dispatch is located in Sidestreet Cashmere, 109 Railroad Ave., and is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
