Fifteen technology companies from Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America have announced (at the Munich Security Conference) the launch of the Trusted Tech Alliance (TTA)—a global coalition of like-minded providers committed to advancing a secure, interoperable, and trusted technology stack. The Alliance spans the full spectrum of modern technology, from connectivity, cloud infrastructure, and semiconductors to software and artificial intelligence.
The TTA is founded on a shared set of principles designed to ensure that, regardless of national origin, member companies adhere to common commitments to transparency, security, and data protection. Together, these commitments aim to strengthen trust in digital technologies and ensure their benefits are broadly shared across societies and economies worldwide.
At a time of unprecedented technological acceleration and increasing geopolitical complexity, countries and customers are demanding greater resilience, reliability, and accountability from technology providers. At the same time, public skepticism persists around the societal impact of digital innovation. The formation of the TTA reflects a recognition that trusted technology must be built collectively, across borders and across the technology stack.
By defining clear attributes of trusted technology and committing to a robust set of operating principles, TTA members pledge to work closely with governments, customers, and partners to reinforce public trust while enabling economic growth, innovation, and job creation.
The Alliance unites companies that are committed to transparent, verifiable practices demonstrating how technology can be securely developed, responsibly operated, and reliably deployed—wherever it is built.
As of today, the signatories of the Trusted Tech Alliance are: Anthropic, Amazon Web Services, Cassava Technologies, Cohere, Ericsson, Google Cloud, Hanwha, Jio Platforms, Microsoft, Nokia, Nscale, NTT, Rapidus, Saab, and SAP.
Participating companies have agreed to five core principles that define what it means to develop, deploy, operate, and collaborate as a trusted global technology provider:

These commitments require strong corporate governance and ethical business practices; secure-by-design development and responsible life cycle management; and contractually binding security and quality assurances across supply chains. They will hold suppliers to high global security standards and foster a digital ecosystem that remains open, innovative, and collaborative.
The TTA will continue expanding its global community of providers dedicated to strengthening trust in technology and advancing shared approaches that support national and international priorities around sovereignty, resilience, competitiveness, and sustainable growth.
