Vinicius Cassiano scored 17 points to lead South River to a 68-62 win against Somerset Tech in Bridgewater.
Down 10-8in the first quarter, South River (6-18) used a 26-15 second quarter to jump ahead at halftime, 34-25.
Somerset Tech (8-16) rebounded with a 21-11 third quarter to regain the lead against South River, 46-45.
In the final quarter, South River outscored Somerset Tech 23-16 to take the lead back and win.
Michael Rivas recorded a 12-points, 15-rebound double-double for South River. Cole Tersely scored 12 points and had three rebounds.
Lundyn Robertson led all scorers with 19 points for Somerset Tech with seven rebounds. David Yacka had 17 points with four rebounds.
