Astana. February 4. KazTAG – Automobile border crossing points on the Kazakh-Chinese border will temporarily not operate due to the Spring Festival celebrations in China, said the State Revenue Committee.
“In connection with the Spring Festival celebrations in China from February 16 to 18, 2026, the passage of persons, vehicles, and cargo at automobile border crossing points on the Kazakh-Chinese border will be unavailable,” reads the message.
At the same time, railway border crossing points will continue operation.
Carriers and citizens are asked to plan their routes in advance taking into account the introduced restrictions in Kazakhstan.
