No. 13 Shabazz remains perfect, downs West Caldwell Tech – Boys basketball recap

Shabazz, No. 13 in the NJ.com Top 20, defeated West Caldwell Tech 75-38 in Newark, led by 18 points and three 3-pointers from Christian Gray.

Shabazz held a 24-10 lead after the opening quarter and led 36-18 at halftime.

Zaim Barnes contributed 17 points for Shabazz, while Anthony Blackmon recorded 14 points and nine rebounds and Umar Sannor added 10 points and nine rebounds.

Shabazz (19-0) remains undefeated and will travel to Cedar Grove on Thursday at 7 p.m. West Caldwell Tech (10-9) will host Belleville on Thursday at the same time.
