NorthLink has advised passengers of more weather-related disruption – with passenger sailings under review and freight services cancelled.

The ferry operator issued its latest service update this morning (Monday), which warns of another week of potential disruption.

Tonight’s southbound passenger sailing, will see the Hrossey depart Lerwick at 7pm – but her arrival in Aberdeen is not expected until 11am, depending on harbour clearance.

There is no northbound passenger sailing as the Hjaltland is currently in dry dock.

Both freight boats have been cancelled – and tomorrow’s freight sailings are under review with a “high probability of cancellation”.

Tomorrow’s northbound passenger sailing is also under review, with an update due tomorrow morning.

The update follows more than a month of weather-related disruption, which has seen services cancelled, depart early or arrive late.
